Hi! My name is Kayla Maree, I started doing makeup ever since I could remember. I've just always had an interest for it! I taught myself everything...aside from tips and tricks I have learned from other talented MUAs & from the courses I have taken. When I was super little, around 8 years old, I would sit in my bedroom and record myself doing makeup tutorials and other fun little videos. I also use to do makeup on my friends and family growing up!

My first real "client" was my cousin, who asked me to do her wedding makeup in 2015! That sparked my interest in taking on clients. I started off doing makeup locally, mainly for school dances, special events, and Halloween makeup. My full time bridal makeup journey began in 2020. I have always loved weddings my whole life, I am a huge hopeless romantic. The thought of helping someone get ready on one of the most special days, makes me feel so honored! I am not the biggest social person, but I really do love meeting so many different & amazing people!

I am 26 years old, born in November. I currently live in a very small town called Dowagiac, MI, which is also where I grew up. I did move around a little bit while in high school. I have lived in Ludington, MI, West Virginia, and Florida- but Michigan is just home to me. I love the change of seasons too much, fall being my fav!

I have a daughter who's name is Azalea Elizabeth. Azalea was 2 weeks old when she passed away shortly after being diagnosed with a heart defect, coarctation of the aorta, in Feb 2020. Everything I do is to honor her name and raise awareness, she is my daily strength. I also have a baby boy who was born in July 2023. My sweet rainbow baby Calvin is my biggest inspiration in life!
